- It’s okay to let him teach you how to do domestic things that should be innate to you since you’re a girl.. like cooking. Embarassing. But okay.
- Never, under any circumstances, is it okay to burp, fart or poop in front of him. Luckily, I didn’t have to learn this one the hard way because us pretty girls don’t do any of the forementioned.
- You don’t necessarily need to see his vision to support his decision to pursue it. I’ve had difficulty in the past faking support for men I didn’t really believe in. Fortunately, this time around, I completely and whole-heartedly believe in his talent so supporting his dreams is effortless anyway.
- I really can’t trust anyone else in the world to mix an alcoholic beverage to my taste buds likings but him. I don’t even need to ask what he’s giving me anymore, because I know it’ll taste good.
- Don’t compete with Call of Duty, 2k, or any video game period, for his attention. You’ll lose.
- Sleeping with someone > sleeping alone. But if you happen to fall asleep in different rooms, don’t wake up throwing a bitch fit because he fell asleep on the couch watching a movie; bask in the glory of having enough room to sleep with your legs spread eagle.
- Never go to bed mad, stay up and fight! With previous dudes, I always kept whatever they were doing to irk me bottled up but w/ this kid, I feel comfortable just confronting him. Maybe every issue doesn’t get solved, but at least they’re not eating my alive.
- No matter how great he is, to your brothers, he will never be good enough.
- Sex is better when you love someone.
- I’ve learned that he’s the only person in this whole wide world who can actually win arguments with me.
- Sometimes you’ll catch him being a goof troop and find yourself smiling at the fact that not only do you love this geek, but you also love his goofiness and nerdy tendencies. Don’t just hold out for the person who will just tolerate your little quirks, hold out for the one who kind of likes them.
- And other times you’ll catch yourself staring at him in complete awe that someone could be this beautiful.
- If he isn’t your musical soulmate, he probably isn’t your soulmate at all.

Anyways... i see on display the MJ autobriography.. so im lookin at it like "omggg. i want this! this better be legit!" Cuz some autobiographies arent written by the person, but it was. You know me... a REAL true MJ fan.. i was dying to get it.. but shit was $25.00 ... so i was like are you serious, thats too expensive for a damn book -___- but i just had to get it. i got it instead of a pair of shoes. ARENT YOU GUYS PROUD! :] im only on pg. 46 but im anxious to read more!

We're learning about Long Term Care. Nursing homes is a part of it.
Professor Camerano tells us a story about a woman who had to put her husband in a nursing home because he was too ill for her to care for. At the nursing home he fell in love with another patient. She didnt take him out the nursing home or make him transfer. Why? Another student said "she was seeing someone else?" (class laughs) Professor: No. because he had alzhiemers. (you all know should know what that disease does). She loved him so much and understood the disease allows you to forget about everything and everyone. This woman was Sandra Day O'Connor - Associate justice of the supreme court of the U.S.

My career is all about healthcare.. my major is Health Services Administration so finding out the bill was passed made me ecstatic :)! Hooray for Obama. Here's what it exactly is for those who dont know....
Small businesses will receive significant tax cuts, this year, to help them afford health coverage for all their employees.
Seniors will receive a rebate to reduce drug costs not yet covered under Medicare.
Young people will be allowed coverage under their parents' plan until the age of 26.
Early retirees will receive help to reduce premium costs.
Children will be protected against discrimination on the basis of medical history.
Uninsured Americans with pre-exisiting conditions can join a special high-risk pool to get the coverage they need, starting in just 90 days.
Insured Americans will be protected from seeing their insurance revoked when they get sick, or facing restrictive annual limits on the care they receive.
All Americans will benefit from significant new investments to train primary care doctors, nurses, and public health professionals, and the creation of state-level consumer assistance programs to help all patients understand and defend our new rights.

So I actually saw this episode of Tyra on t.v. and yay theres a clip of it.. its kinda long like 12 mins I think but worth watchin. Its about mothers teaching their daughters to marry for $ (although, there is one SENSIBLE mother who teaches her daughter to marry for love). I just thought this was very interesting cuz im pretty sure most of daughter's moms want their daughter to marry for money (maybe?). And also because its a very realistic issue
My grandma is always tellin me to marry a rich old guy (she married my grandpa who is white and was in the military).. and she be serious too lol. and well my mom says marry for love but marry someone who can support you too. I agree with my mom. I can be independent and have my own job and make my own money but if you my husband we need to support EACH OTHER. Ive never been the girlfriend to be a gold diggin type AT ALL. Anytime a guy asks to pay for me i always insist on them not payin or i make sure i ask once or twice its okay. I like chivalry and the man treatin the lady but believe it or not i actually like payin once in a while on dates and buyin gifts for my bf .. it makes me feel like an independent and generous person (:
